A teenager has been arrested following a robbery in Truganina this evening.
Police have been told an 11-year-old boy was at a fast food outlet, at the intersection of Forsyth and Sayers roads, when his phone was stolen after he was approached by four youths and assaulted about 7pm.
The victim’s father attended the scene and located one of the offenders, holding them until police arrived; the other three youths involved fled the scene.
An 18-year-old male from Truganina is currently assisting police with their enquiries and police have ongoing enquiries to make in relation to the other people involved.
