Police and emergency services attended an accident where a child ran into the path of a car in Tarneit this afternoon (Thursday 8 October).
Investigators have been told the child ran onto Sayers Road (near Butterfly Boulevard) around 12.40pm and was hit by the car.
A four-year-old boy was taken to The Royal Children’s Hospital with minor upper-body injuries.
The driver of the vehicle stopped and assisted police with their enquiries.
