Investigators have been told the child ran onto Sayers Road (near Butterfly Boulevard) around 12.40pm and was hit by the car.A four-year-old boy was taken to The Royal Children’s Hospital with minor upper-body injuries.The driver of the vehicle stopped and assisted police with their enquiries.
