$450k Boost For Local Park

Rosslare

In short:

Rosslare Court Reserve in Hoppers Crossing will receive a sports court, outdoor fitness equipment and a large open lawn as part of a $450,000 upgrade starting April. Stage two works are expected to finish in mid-2026.

Park Upgrades to Progress

Construction is about to begin on the next stage of upgrades at Rosslare Court Reserve in Hoppers Crossing, with Wyndham City awarding a contract for new open space improvements at the site.

Work is expected to start in April, bringing several new features aimed at making the reserve more usable for local residents.

The project will add a large open grass lawn, a half multi-sport court and outdoor fitness equipment, along with additional landscaping throughout the reserve.

Council says the upgrades are designed to encourage more casual recreation and provide another space for residents to exercise, relax or gather with friends and family.

The works form part of a $450,000 investment in the reserve and follow earlier improvements completed in 2024, which included a district-level playground, picnic areas, a public toilet and new on-street car parking.

Planning is also continuing for a future wetland within the reserve. The wetland is intended to help filter stormwater before it enters Skeleton Creek, while also improving the environmental value of the park.

Rosslare Court Reserve in Hoppers Crossing is one of several parks across Wyndham earmarked for upgrades as ageing infrastructure is replaced and open spaces are refreshed to meet demand from the area’s growing population.

Stage two of the Rosslare Court Reserve works is expected to be finished in mid-2026.
