Werribee River Association invites community members to submit their photos, and digital art, to their annual photo competition.
Images will showcase the local people and local landscapes that evoke notions of community, home, and belonging.
They are also asking for photos, digital art, and collage that encapsulate your future visions for Wyndham.
The photo competition is for all amateur skill levels and is open to people who live, work or study in the City of Wyndham.
There are two prize categories, with a total of $650 in prize money. Entrants can upload up to 5 photos per category.
The prize categories include:
– Werr-I-Bee Long –
Photos of places and/or people around Wyndham in an outdoor setting or natural landscape that bring a strong sense of belonging or home. Two prizes of $250 to be awarded.
– Future Visions –
Using photography, graphic design and/or collage, create a design of the future land and streetscapes that you would like to see. Images may be created digitally, or through traditional collaging methods. One prize of $150 to be awarded.
Please provide a short description with your entry and ensure you have written approval from all photo subjects.
Entries open 1 March and close 15 June. Winners notified by 30 June.
