Wyndham Crime Investigation Unit detectives were again called to Woodville Park Shopping Centre, this time to investigate a ramming incident at Peachers Hair Salon, today, Wednesday (9 June).
It’s understood an unknown white vehicle attended a shopping carpark on Warringa Crescent about 4.40am.
The driver of the vehicle reversed into the store several times, causing extensive damage to its front area.
It is unknown if anything was stolen during the incident.
Police established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The shopping centre has been plagued by a spate of crime.
In the preceding month of May, investigators at the shopping centre were told that a fire had broken out at around 3.30am. Uncle T’z was all but destroyed in the blaze.
A staff member was stabbed after he confronted a man for stealing a bottle of alcohol back in April.
