
Additional arrests have been conducted by Wyndham police subsequent to a disturbance that occurred at a Tarneit Senior College earlier this week.
In the morning hours today, officers from the Proactive Policing Unit apprehended three girls, aged 13, 14, and 15, at locations within Tarneit.
As part of the Embedded Youth Outreach Program, local youth workers offered assistance and support.
The 15-year-old individual has been formally accused of affray, stalking, riotous behavior, and assault. Presently, she has been granted bail and is slated to make an appearance in a children’s court on a later date.
Regarding the 13-year-old and 14-year-old, it is anticipated that they will receive charges via summons, encompassing affray, assault, and stalking-related offenses.
These recent detentions trace back to an event that transpired at a school on Leakes Road at approximately 3.50pm on Tuesday, August 22nd.
During the incident, five girls were taken into custody. Among them, one was charged and subsequently granted bail, while the others were released pending the issuance of summons.
The investigative process is still ongoing, and it is anticipated that more arrests will follow.
