RSPCA Victoria Brings Low-Cost Pet Vaccination Clinic for Cats to Tarneit Community Learning Centre
The Tarneit Community Learning Centre will be hosting a low-cost pet vaccination clinic on Wednesday, November 20, organized by RSPCA Victoria.
This initiative aims to make veterinary care more affordable for pet owners and their animals. For a fee of $59, cats will receive essential preventative vaccinations and a health check by an RSPCA veterinarian to ensure they’re ready for the vaccinations.
Pet owners can also access expert advice on maintaining their pets’ health for the long term.
Speaking about the clinics, Rebecca Cook, Head of Prevention for RSPCA Victoria, shared her enthusiasm for reaching more communities: “At our last clinic in Kensington, we saw 22 pets from 19 local families, and we can’t wait to hit the road again and meet more furry friends,” Ms Cook said. “RSPCA Victoria has run over 70 low-cost vaccination events across Melbourne in the last year, where we have saved each pet owner at least $50 on average per pet.” She added, “We want to help people care for their pets by increasing their access to preventative veterinary care, which supports lifelong bonds among families with their cats and dogs.”
Limited appointments are available and must be booked online in advance.
For those with multiple pets, separate appointments must be made for each animal.
Bookings can be made at rspcavic.org/vaccinationclinics/.
