Police are currently investigating an aggravated burglary that occurred in Point Cook on Friday, January 12th, around 6:30 pm. According to a witness, two males of Asian appearance entered a property on Sarsparilla Drive and attempted to leave by jumping over the back fence.
The family of the neighbouring residence were surprised to see the two men on their property and fearing the worst, promptly notified the police.
The residents, who had their young child with them at the time, mentioned that one of the men seemed to be carrying a weapon in their pocket, causing the residents to be reluctant to confront them.
Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident. Officers, including the K9 unit, attended the scene and conducted a thorough search of the area. However, despite their efforts, the suspects were not located.
