Air Wing Lands to Assist in Arrest After High-Speed Incident in Tarneit

Around 3:00 pm, a vehicle was observed travelling at high speeds in the Tarneit area. The car was monitored with the assistance of the Air Wing, which tracked its movements until the driver abandoned the vehicle on McMahon Crescent.

The man fled on foot into nearby parklands, attempting to cross Davis Creek. Police followed on foot, and Air Wing members landed nearby to provide critical assistance.

The man was arrested a short time later and is currently being interviewed.

Police have not yet released further details about the incident. Investigations are ongoing.
