Al-Taqwa is One of Victoria’s Largest Clusters So Far.

As Victoria’s coronavirus emergency continues another 6 new cases were recorded yesterday that are linked to the Al-Taqwa College in Truganina, bringing the total to 113.

Previously the largest cluster was the Cedar Meats outbreak that gained much media attention with 111 linked cases.

Chief health officer Brett Sutton has also stated that there is a link between the college and the public housing towers that have been in lockdown.

The authorities are not sure if the transmission between the two locations has occurred going out of the college or coming in to the college.

Also in Truganina, the Catch.com distribution centre recorded another positive case bringing their total to 4.
