An Altona woman won a $1 million division one prize in the Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4277 on April 12th, 2023.
She was one of three division one winners in the draw, with the other two winners coming from Queensland. The woman said that the winning numbers were from a dream she had, and she always played those numbers.
She purchased her System 8 entry online at thelott.com. When the woman checked her online account and saw that she had won a million dollars, she was overwhelmed and almost fainted. She and her family were surprised by the win, as they had been away and had not checked the ticket.
The woman hasn’t decided yet how to use the prize money, but said it would make things a lot easier. She scored a total prize of $1,006,109.05.
The Lott, the official home of Australia’s lotteries, has had 355 division one winners so far this financial year, including 136 won by Tatts customers.
In 2022, Monday & Wednesday Lotto created 91 millionaires across Australia, and there were 106 division one winning entries across Australia, which collectively won $105 million.
