Another Ram Raid in Hoppers Crossing.


Wyndham Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a ram raid in Hoppers Crossing early this morning.

The thief stole a number of cigarettes

A male offender crashed a Toyota HiAce van through the front windows of an Old Geelong Road service station about 3.50am.

The thief has stolen a number of cigarette packets before fleeing.

There was extensive damage to the structure

Emergency services located the van burnt out at the corner of Steamer and Blazon roads in Tarneit about 4.30am.

The man is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance with a solid build.

Police still had the area cordoned off

He was wearing a black and white jumper with white writing on the sleeve, blue face covering, black pants and red gloves.
