
Police are investigating after reports of an armed robbery in Wyndham Vale on 23 January.
Police have been told two victims were approached by two offenders on Armstrong Road about 3pm.
It’s believed the offenders have threatened the victims with a knife before stealing one of the victim’s mobile phone and fleeing on foot.
A third victim was also assaulted on Armstrong Road about 3pm and his mobile phone was stolen.
A woman and boy were located at a shopping centre nearby and arrested by police.
A 19-year-old Deer Park woman and a 16-year-old Wyndham Vale boy are currently assisting police with their enquiries.
At this time, it’s believed the incidents are linked and the investigation remains ongoing.
