The incident involved a 20-year-old woman who was walking along Thames Boulevard after alighting from a bus near the intersection of Thames Boulevard and Melpomene Boulevard at approximately 9.15pm on Wednesday, 19 March.

The young woman was accosted by an unidentified man who tried to forcefully pull her towards the road. However, she was able to resist and break free from the assailant, who subsequently fled south on Thames Boulevard towards the intersection of Melpomene Boulevard. Investigating authorities have disclosed CCTV footage that shows the man seizing the victim and her subsequent screams. The suspect is described as being around 160-165cm tall, of slim build, and with short dark hair. Authorities estimate his age to be in his late teens to early twenties.
