Police are investigating following the discovery of a body in the Werribee River at Tarneit on Saturday morning.
The male body was located by a dog walker near Riversdale Drive and Micarey Court about 8am.
Search and Rescue have retrieved the body from the water however he has not been formally identified at this stage.
A post mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
