Fun Lego Event is Back in Action
Lego fans are being encouraged to mark their calendars, with Wyndham Brickfest returning to Hoppers Crossing on 27 and 28 June 2026 from 10am to 4pm for another weekend of impressive displays and family-friendly fun.
Held at Hoppers Crossing Secondary College on Fraser Street, the annual event has become a popular fixture on Wyndham’s community calendar, showcasing everything from detailed recreations of famous landmarks and model train layouts to classic Lego themes and original creations.
Last year’s event attracted around 1,000 visitors and raised $7,000 for the Wyndham Health Foundation, helping fund a specialised trolley for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Werribee Mercy Hospital.
President of Wyndham Brickfest Andrew Elsbury said organisers were hoping to raise even more this year.
“The team outdid themselves last year by raising $7,000 which was donated to the Wyndham Health Foundation to go towards a specialised trolley for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Werribee Mercy Hospital,” he said.
“Naturally, we are keen to break that donation this year by raising more money, seeing more displays and welcoming more people to this community focused event.”
Display applications are now open, with multiple categories available for builders of all ages, abilities and experience to showcase their creations.
Early bird tickets are also on sale, allowing visitors to secure 2025 prices before they increase. Entry at the door will cost $6 per person or $20 for a family of four.
Funds raised from this year’s Wyndham Brickfest will support a children’s health initiative in Wyndham.
