
There has been a bus crash at Werribee Zoo.
Emergency services were called to the crash shortly after 12.00pm this afternoon 8th of September.
It is believed the bus crashed into a tree while performing a routine turn near the bus stop at the zoo entrance car park on Main Drive in Werribee South.
The male driver of the No. 439 Werribee South bus was being treated by Ambulance Victoria crew members when Werribee Rescue CFA arrived at the scene.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said that the man was taken to the Werribee Mercy Hospital in what is believed to be a stable condition suffering what appears to have been a medical episode.
No passengers appeared to be at the scene, and none were injured according to Ambulance Victoria.
