A new 22-metre mural of Australian tennis legend Lleyton Hewitt has been unveiled at the recently opened Highline Park in Stockland Grandview, Truganina.

Created by Melbourne artist Paink, the mural features two portraits of Lleyton Hewitt and is part of the park’s tennis hit-up wall, providing a dedicated space for tennis enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. According to Jackie Kent, Stockland Development Director, such recreational spaces encourage an active and healthy lifestyle within the community.

Located at the corner of Highline Boulevard and Altezze Drive, Highline Park also includes a grassed area, a playground with a 10-metre-tall tower, and a multi-use sports court.

Paink, who spent approximately 100 hours over 12 days on the mural, expressed gratitude for the opportunity, stating, “It was an honour to be part of this project. Lleyton is an Australian icon, and I wanted to capture his energy and celebrate his remarkable career.”

Melton City Council Mayor, and Councillor Kathy Majdlik, praised the addition of the mural, stating, “We applaud the commitment to community engagement and the development of facilities that enhance the quality of life for residents. The mural is a fantastic addition, inspiring locals to stay active and healthy.”
