Bargains, bees and backyard tips
A car boot sale is set to bring locals together for a day of affordable shopping, sustainability, and family fun on Saturday 8 November 2025 at the Wyndham Park Community Centre in Werribee.
Running from 9:30am to 2:00pm, the event invites residents to buy, sell, recycle and connect in a relaxed and friendly environment. Presented by Flourish Markets, the car boot sale will feature a wide variety of second-hand goods, unique finds, and local business stalls.
Shoppers can expect everything from household items and pre-loved treasures to handmade goods and one-off vintage pieces. It’s an opportunity to grab a bargain, reduce waste, and support the local community.
The event also includes two free community workshops promoting sustainability. At 9:30am, local gardening expert Craig Castree will lead “Healthy Soil = Healthy People”, offering practical advice for home growers. Children can take part in Kids Apiary Adventures with Werribeeks, learning about bees and pollination in a fun, hands-on session. Bookings are required for both workshops.
Families attending the event can enjoy free face painting and the chance to explore a bustling market atmosphere in the heart of Werribee. The venue at 55–57 Kookaburra Avenue offers accessible facilities and free parking.
The car boot sale is designed to be more than just a market — it’s a celebration of community, sustainability and creativity, with something for all ages to enjoy.
