Carp, known for their destructive feeding habits, pose a serious threat to river health by damaging native aquatic plants and animals. A single carp weighing 4–5 kg can produce over one million eggs, leading to rapid population growth. By removing carp from the waterways, the event aims to improve water quality and increase native fish numbers, benefitting the entire ecosystem.

Event Details:

Date: Saturday, November 30

Time: 10am–2pm

Location: Manor Lakes Reserve, 151 Manor Lakes Boulevard
