An affray on the Princes Freeway this afternoon 16th of March, involving a man struck by a vehicle and a confrontation among three men, has sparked a police investigation in Laverton. The incident occurred around 1 p.m., leading to two men, aged 28 and 34, being hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. A 32-year-old man was arrested at the scene and is aiding police with their inquiries.

The details surrounding the altercation and its escalation onto the freeway are still under investigation, with traffic temporarily disrupted as police conducted a search. The Princes Freeway’s inbound traffic was stopped, and the Laverton exit was blocked for about an hour.
