Grants Open Next Week

Community groups, clubs and organisations across Wyndham are being encouraged to start planning, with Wyndham Council’s latest Community Strengthening Grants opening next month.

The Medium Grants Round opens on Monday, 3 August, with grants of up to $15,000 available to support local community projects.

The annual program helps local people and organisations turn ideas into activities, events, programs and opportunities that strengthen community life across Wyndham.

Funding is available for projects that bring people together, build community connection and participation, improve wellbeing and inclusion, celebrate culture, creativity and diversity, and strengthen local skills, leadership and community networks.

The grants support a broad range of community initiatives and are aimed at helping groups deliver projects that create lasting benefits for local residents.

Wyndham Council says the program supports the priorities outlined in its Council Plan 2025–2029 and Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan, with applications assessed on how they contribute to positive outcomes for the Wyndham community.

Community organisations considering applying are encouraged to begin preparing their applications ahead of the opening date, as the funding round will remain open for just under four weeks.

Applications close on Friday, 28 August.

Further information, including eligibility criteria and application guidelines, is available on Wyndham Council’s website. Community members can also contact Wyndham Council’s Grants Team on 1300 023 411 or email funding@wyndham.vic.gov.au for assistance.
