Dates Set For Park Feedback
Wyndham City Council has opened community engagement on proposed upgrades to Farfalla Way Park, with residents invited to provide feedback across several stages in 2026.
Community engagement opened on Monday 2 February 2026 and includes both online feedback and in-person drop-in sessions at the park.
Two drop-in engagement sessions are scheduled at Farfalla Way Park, 2–22 Farfalla Way, Tarneit.
The first will be held on Saturday 14 February from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, followed by a second session on Tuesday 24 February from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.
Residents can attend either session to view information, ask questions and provide feedback directly.
The proposed upgrade includes new play equipment and outdoor fitness equipment, installation of an accessible BBQ and a public toilet, refurbishment of the existing butterfly-themed artworks and shelter, and landscaping improvements including a new irrigation system for the main lawn area.
Online feedback and community engagement will close at 11:59pm on Monday 2 March 2026.
Following the close of consultation, council is scheduled to review community feedback during March 2026, with a community engagement findings report expected in April 2026.
A draft design for the park upgrade is planned to be shared publicly in June 2026.
Subject to final approvals, construction is expected to commence in late 2026 or early 2027.
