Major Works Roll On
Wyndham City Council has released an update on its 2025/26 capital works program, pointing to a range of completed projects while major road upgrades continue across the municipality.
Among the key completed works is stage two of the $16.1 million Jamieson Way Community Centre and Reserve expansion, which includes a new indoor multisport facility, netball pavilion and courts, along with parking and landscaping upgrades.
Council says progress is being made across the network, with several major road projects currently under construction and further works now underway, including the Duncans Road streetscape upgrade and stage two of the Warringa Crescent road reconstruction.
A number of new and upgraded open spaces have also been delivered, including Fortitude Drive Reserve in Truganina and Holyoake Parade Reserve in Manor Lakes, alongside smaller projects such as pedestrian bridges, playground upgrades and open space improvements.
Additional works have started on stage two of the Warringa Crescent Reserve upgrade, a new youth space in Manor Lakes and sporting upgrades through the Wyndham Active Revitalisation Program.

Wyndham City Mayor Cr Preet Singh said the program reflects what the community has asked for.
“This year’s capital works program continues our strong investment in providing our community with the infrastructure they need, close to home,” he said.
“As our population continues to grow at a record pace, delivering new infrastructure and renewing ageing assets is more important than ever, and we’re proud of the progress we’ve made to date.”
Deputy Mayor Cr Jasmine Hill said projects were being delivered across multiple suburbs.
“We know our community values good local infrastructure, and from Truganina to Manor Lakes, Hoppers Crossing and beyond, these investments are helping support healthier, more active and better-connected communities,” she said.
