In short:
Wyndham seniors will have the chance to get creative at a series of craft sessions at Iramoo Community Centre. The program begins with a Tin Can Holders session on 7 September, followed by more activities in October and December.
Free Fun For Seniors
Wyndham Vale seniors looking to get crafty can put away their wallets, with a series of free creative sessions coming to Iramoo Community Centre.
The centre’s Free Seniors Craft program returns on 7 September, giving locals the chance to turn an everyday tin can into something a little more colourful.
The Tin Can Holders session will run from 10am to 11am at the community centre on Honour Avenue, with seniors invited to come along, get creative and enjoy a social morning with other locals.
And for those who catch the crafting bug, there is more to come.
On 5 October, the scissors and glue will come back out for a Cotton Bud Wreath Painting session, before Christmas takes over on 7 December with participants creating their own Christmas Gift Tags.
Each session runs from 10am to 11am and is completely free, making it an easy way to try something creative without spending a cent.
While there is no charge, places need to be booked in advance.
Iramoo Community Centre is located at 84 Honour Avenue, Wyndham Vale, with bookings available by calling 8742 3688.
