Police have initiated an investigation following an assault that occurred in Hoppers Crossing on the night of 30 March. The incident, which unfolded at a licensed venue on Horne Street around 11:45 pm, resulted in a man in his 30s being rendered unconscious during a dispute.
He was subsequently rushed to the Royal Melbourne Hospital, arriving in a critical condition. As the investigation progresses, no arrests have yet been made regarding the assault.
