Wyndham City Council has advised the public today that Dohertys Road between Tarneit Road and Derrimut Road will remain closed for the next fortnight.
Council are currently working to repair recent water damage along the controversial stretch of road that gets heavily inundated with water.
A group of locals recently protested on Dohertys Road.
Council said, “We are working hard to rebuild this section of road as quickly as possible, with works expected to be complete by the end of this month.”
“We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience while these works take place.”, they said.
