The Wyndham City Council is inviting feedback on its Draft Public Toilet Policy, which provides a framework for increasing restroom provision across the City‘s open spaces and public areas.
The policy seeks to provide clean, safe, and accessible public toilets at key destinations, often located at District level parks, while taking into account cost of installation and maintenance over time.
Mayor Cr Susan McIntyre recommends that the community take a look at the Draft Public Toilet Policy and provide their feedback. Drop–in sessions and an online survey are available on The Loop until 9 May.
With the installation of public toilets, Wyndham City‘s parks and open spaces are sure to attract more visitors and families, promoting community wellbeing.
It looks like the Wyndham City Council has taken the plunge and is flushing out the details of their new policy!
