Dispose of electronics safely
Wyndham City is encouraging residents to safely dispose of their unwanted electronic items, including vapes, at a dedicated E-Waste and Vape Drop-Off Day on Saturday, 14 June, from 10am to 1pm at the Truganina Community Centre car park, 1 Everton Road.

The event offers a safe and responsible way to discard e-waste—anything powered by batteries or that plugs into a power source—including items like laptops, phones, and small appliances. Vapes and similar devices contain lithium-ion batteries, which pose serious fire risks if placed in regular bins.
By recycling correctly, residents can help prevent environmental hazards and recover valuable materials that would otherwise be lost.
Accepted items include:
• Televisions
• Chargers
• Mobile phones, tablets, and laptops
• Computers, monitors, and printers
• Small kitchen appliances such as toasters and microwaves
• Cameras
• Radios and CD players
• Vapes and e-cigarettes (must be empty)
Not accepted: Large electronic items such as whitegoods.
Registration is required and can be completed online at:
