Westgate Highway Patrol officers are investigating after a car and scooter collided in Hoppers Crossing on 17 February.
Officers have been told the male rider was travelling east in the westbound lane on Heaths Road about 8am when the incident occurred.
It’s understood the driver of a Toyota Corolla travelling north on Woodville Park Drive entered the intersection of Heaths Road when the pair collided.
The driver, a 22-year-old Wyndham Vale woman, stopped and assisted police.
The scooter rider, a 50-year-old Werribee man, was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a stable condition with upper body injuries.
