
The police are presently on the lookout for Daniel Briffa, who managed to escape from a Correctional Centre in Trawalla during the night.
Daniel Briffa, aged 50, had been serving a prison sentence due to convictions related to drug offenses, theft, and traffic violations.
Sometime between 7:30 PM and 9:30 PM on September 4th, Briffa successfully eluded the facility, employing unknown means.
Briffa stands at around 170cm in height and possesses a solid build, short brown curly hair, and a full beard and moustache. He also bears tattoos on his lower legs.
During his escape, Briffa was last seen in a forest green tracksuit, though it is possible that he has managed to acquire different attire since then.
Notably, Briffa has been known to frequent areas such as Werribee, Hoppers Crossing, and Tarneit in the past.
In an effort to locate Briffa, police have released a photograph, hoping that someone may recognize him and provide information concerning his current whereabouts. While he is not considered to be a violent individual, the public is strongly cautioned against approaching Briffa if spotted. Instead, individuals are urged to immediately contact emergency services by dialling triple-zero (000).
