The Wyndham Cultural Centre is proud to present the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, performing some of the most beloved orchestral classics.
Led by the talented Aaron Wyatt, a First Nations conductor and accomplished violinist, the concert will feature works such as Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony, Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker, Bizet’s Carmen Suite and Ravel’s Bolero.
Aaron is notable for his accomplishments in the music industry, including performing Deborah Cheetham’s new piece Nanyubak with the MSO in 2021 and becoming the first Indigenous Australian to conduct one of the state symphonies when conducting the MSO’s performance of Long Time Living Here in 2020.
Wyndham City’s Creative City portfolio holder Cr Marcel Mahfoud said: “This is an excellent opportunity to witness the power and beauty of the MSO in person without having to travel far. Whether you are a fan of orchestra or just starting to explore the genre, this concert will be an amazing and mesmerising way to experience the wonders of classical music.
With tickets for only $10, you won’t want to miss it!” The show will take place on Wednesday 15 March 2023 at 1pm. To book and for more information visit: https://www.wyndham.vic.gov.au/whats-on
