Fatal Collision in Hoppers Crossing Prompts Investigation by Major Collision Detectives
Police are investigating a fatal collision that occurred in Hoppers Crossing this afternoon, with the Major Collision Investigation Unit called in to examine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Reports indicate that an e-bike and a motorcycle collided on Heaths Road, near the Thorpe Avenue intersection, around 1:15 pm. The motorcyclist, a 38-year-old man from Hoppers Crossing, was rushed to the hospital but tragically died from his injuries. The rider of the e-bike, a 23-year-old man, also from Hoppers Crossing, was hospitalised with non-life-threatening injuries.
