SUV and Pedestrian Collide, Resulting in Tragic Fatality
Police are currently investigating a fatal collision that occurred on Thursday evening near the intersection of Heaths Road and Derrimut Road in Hoppers Crossing.
At approximately 10:30 p.m., an SUV and a pedestrian collided, resulting in the death of the pedestrian.
The driver of the SUV remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities. Investigations are ongoing to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the collision.
Emergency services were called to the scene following the collision, but unfortunately, the pedestrian, a male whose identity has not yet been confirmed, was pronounced dead after paramedics attempted resuscitation.
