Four males arrested after vehicle evades police; details on charges and bail pending
Police have arrested four males following an incident in which a vehicle allegedly attempted to evade police officers in Point Cook during the early hours of Saturday, 17 August. The incident unfolded when police spotted a car driving erratically on Point Cook Road around 3:30 am. Officers, concerned by the vehicle’s behaviour, began to monitor its movements closely.
With the support of the Air Wing, police were able to follow the car as it travelled through the area, eventually leading them to Greg Norman Drive. There, the vehicle was abandoned near the Quest Apartments, prompting a foot chase as the four male occupants attempted to flee the scene.
Thanks to the coordinated efforts of the ground units and the Air Wing, all four individuals were apprehended a short distance from the abandoned vehicle. They were taken into custody and were being interviewed by police. At this time, police have not provided any further details regarding the charges that may be laid against the individuals or any bail conditions that might apply.
