Stolen blue BMW

Four teens granted bail after alleged BMW theft, set to appear in children’s court.

Four teenagers have been charged following the theft of a blue BMW in Truganina on Saturday, October 26. The vehicle was reportedly stolen from a property on Everton Road after a male was seen loitering outside. Seizing the opportunity, he entered the BMW, managed to start it, and quickly reversed out of the driveway before taking off.

A few days later, on October 29 at around 12:40 a.m., officers spotted the allegedly stolen BMW near Leakes Road in Truganina. The police Air Wing was called in to assist, tracking the vehicle as it made its way through Melbourne’s CBD before returning to the Wyndham area.

The BMW was observed by the Air Wing as it was abandoned in Generation Crescent, Mambourin. The occupants were seen entering a nearby address, where police subsequently arrested four teenagers without incident.

The teenagers – a 16-year-old from Hoppers Crossing, and three 17-year-olds from Tarneit, Manor Lakes, and Wyndham Vale – have each been charged with theft of a motor vehicle. They were bailed and will appear in a children’s court at a later date.
