A Great Place For Stepping Stones
Young people across Wyndham still have the opportunity to register for a free careers event in Tarneit tomorrow, bringing together employers, training providers and support services to help kick-start their future.
Wyndham Youth Career Connect will be held from 12pm to 2pm on 30 June at the Tarneit Community Learning Centre, 150 Sunset Views Boulevard.
The event is open to young people aged 16 to 25 and aims to connect attendees with local opportunities while providing practical advice about employment, study and career planning.
Participants will have the chance to learn about current job vacancies, apprenticeships, training programs and volunteering opportunities available across the region.
Representatives from a range of organisations will also be on hand to answer questions, discuss career pathways and provide guidance on the next steps towards employment or further education.
The event also features stories from young people who have successfully navigated their own career journeys, giving attendees the chance to hear first-hand experiences and gain insights into building confidence and developing new skills.
Whether you’re searching for your first job, looking to gain experience through volunteering, considering further study or simply exploring your options, Wyndham Youth Career Connect offers an opportunity to meet people who can help point you in the right direction.
The event is free to attend, however bookings are essential, with places still available ahead of tomorrow’s session.
