Excitement is building in the Point Cook community as new murals are being created in the town centre, set to be completed in August. These vibrant works of art are being crafted by renowned artists LucyLucy and Katira, promising to add a fresh burst of creativity and colour to the area.

Lucy’s paintings delve into the evolving folklore of the feminine, exploring energy through archetypal portraits of muses, mothers, and goddesses. Her symbolic imagery invites viewers to navigate the inner landscapes of the female psyche, offering a unique and introspective experience.

Katherine Gailer, also known as Katira, is a Colombian/German artist currently based in Melbourne. Her work challenges social structures and reclaims space for diverse cultural expression, placing women at the forefront of social change. Katira’s murals are a bold statement, celebrating the strength and resilience of women from various backgrounds.
