Overnight, detectives from the Wyndham Crime Investigation Unit initiated an investigation into an alleged gunshot incident that occurred in Tarneit on Monday, January 1.
According to reports, the incident unfolded around 11:25 pm when a vehicle came to a stop outside a residence on Morris Road. Preliminary information suggests that an individual, positioned in the front passenger seat, disembarked from the car and proceeded to approach the house, subsequently discharging a firearm.
The assailant swiftly fled the scene in the same vehicle, leaving police to piece together the events that transpired. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the gunshot.
