Police were called to an assault at fast food restaurant in Werribee about 4.10pm on Tuesday 26th of May.
There were reports that a man had suffered head injuries after being pushed to the ground by another man.
Police attended and arrested a 19-year-old Narre Warren man nearby. He was interviewed by police and the investigation is ongoing.
Ambulance Victoria took the injured man to hospital while police continued investigations with staff at the food chain.
