Police Apprehend Man Displaying Erratic Behavior at Scene as Investigation Unfolds
Homicide Squad detectives are currently conducting an investigation into the death of a woman in Hoppers Crossing today.
At approximately 1.15 pm, emergency services were called to Grevillia Crescent in response to reports of a disturbance.
Upon arrival, the police found a 51-year-old Hoppers Crossing man displaying erratic behaviour, and he was subsequently apprehended at the scene. Due to serious injuries, the man was taken to the hospital for medical attention.
During a further search of the property, an unresponsive woman was discovered. Sadly, the 40-year-old woman from Darley was pronounced dead at the scene.
The specific circumstances leading to the woman’s death have not been determined yet, and the investigation remains ongoing.
At this time, the police state that they are not seeking any other individuals in connection to the incident, and it is believed that the parties involved were acquainted with each other.
