Homicide Squad detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in Wyndham Vale yesterday.
Officers attended a property on Clapham Crescent about 4.15pm on Tuesday, 10 January to undertake a welfare check.
They subsequently located a 68-year-old Wyndham Vale man who resides at the address deceased.
A crime scene is in place today as investigators work to determine the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
A 43-year-old Wyndham Vale man, who was known to the deceased, is currently assisting police with enquiries.
Police are keen to speak to anyone in the area who witnessed any suspicious activity at the property over the past few days or has further information about the incident.
They would also like to speak to anyone from the area with CCTV or dash-cam footage captured this week.
