In short:
K-Road Cliffs in Werribee have reopened with a new walk, lookouts, and facilities after a major upgrade. The project improves public access, scenic views, and erosion control at one of Wyndham’s most iconic natural sites.
The K-Road Cliffs viewing area in Werribee has officially reopened following the completion of a major upgrade project aimed at improving public access and preserving the natural landscape.

Visitors can now enjoy a newly constructed clifftop walk featuring multiple lookout points with sweeping views over the Werribee River. A staircase has also been installed, providing access down to the riverbank and incorporating tiered terraces designed for seating and nature photography.

The redevelopment includes a new car park, picnic shelter, and interpretive signage to enhance the overall visitor experience.
Significant drainage works were also completed as part of the project to manage erosion and protect the unique geological features of the cliffs.

The final stage of construction—decking on the large viewing platform and staircase—has now been completed, marking the official opening of all areas to the public.
The upgrade provides safer access, modern amenities, and a renewed opportunity to explore one of Werribee’s most scenic natural attractions.
