Old Geelong Road is closed in both directions at the level crossing near Hoppers Crossing Station, following a lightning strike.
Remember, you should NEVER drive through closed boom gates.
Please detour using Derrimut or Forsyth roads instead.
Traffic lights at the nearby intersection of the Princes Highway and Old Geelong Road have also been affected and are flashing yellow. Please pay attention and follow the same rules that apply at intersections with a Stop or Give Way sign.
