LIT was a HIT!

LIT Wyndham City scaled

This month, Wyndham City held a lightbased experience, LIT, at Wyndham Park in Werribee, which saw an incredible amount of visitors with a record 61,722 people attending.

According to Mayor Susan McIntyre, the event was met with remarkable response, with over double the attendance from the previous year. Feedback from both locals and tourists has been overwhelmingly positive.

Many people have been taking to social media to share their experiences and show their pride in the City and its events. Mayor McIntyre also noted that the event was great for the local hospitality sector, with people out and about dining, getting takeaways and visiting pubs and bars.

There is already plenty of excitement for the events that will take place in Wyndham City in 2024. LIT ran from 17 – 26 March, 8pm – 11pm and featured a laser show, rainbow sky canopy, light-drenched trees, pulsing light lawn, interactive projections, a magical nature trail and interactive installations.
