Point Cook singer-songwriter Taysha Farrugia is captivating listeners locally and internationally.
The 15-year-old has already released two singles, Fearless in 2024 and Dance Take A Chance in 2025, and continues to gig on the local circuit.
Fearless showed that Farrugia has a way of reaching people, hitting number one on the European Indie Music charts.
“I felt really proud that something of my own is shared to so many more people than I thought, and around the world. I’m also more excited to release more music, knowing that there are people not just in Australia but all over the world enjoying my sound,” she said.
“My song hit 1 million views on YouTube Music and was shared on radio stations all over the world.”
She said her style is far from static.
“I’m always changing and growing, so I can make better music for my listeners and also to grow as an artist, I’m always learning something new, developing my brand.”
When asked if there was an artist or artists she was particularly inspired by at the moment, she said her main form of inspiration is the feel of songs.
“Not in particular, but I would say, that I’m taking inspiration from the feel of songs, no matter what kind of song, making my listeners feel a song is my top priority, as an artist, but also as someone who enjoys finding lyrics that I can relate to.
“At 15, I’m developing as an artist and finding my brand through my songwriting.”
