Wyndham residents are being encouraged to come together to celebrate the opening of Holyoake Parade, with a free community event set to activate the new space and welcome locals of all ages.
The event will transform the area into a lively meeting point, featuring the Street Surfer Bus with music, games and on-the-move entertainment.
Pop-up sports will be available throughout the event, giving residents the chance to try basketball, pickleball, cricket and other activities in a relaxed, family-friendly setting.
Locals can also make use of the new outdoor fitness equipment, kick the footy on the open grass or let younger children explore the new playground.
The focus is on getting active, meeting neighbours and enjoying a new community space designed for everyday use.
Free vouchers will be available on the day for Potato Twisters or coffee, limited to one per person.
Once vouchers are redeemed, additional food and drinks can be purchased directly from vendors.
The event runs from 11:00am to 1:00pm on 22 January 2026 at Holyoake Parade, Manor Lakes. Entry is free and all ages are welcome.
The celebration is being delivered by the Wyndham City Council Sports & Recreation Team, with residents encouraged to drop in at any time and take part.
