According to reports, the incident involved a car and a road-registered scooter that collided at the intersection of Geelong Road/Princes Highway and Werribee Street just before 7pm.
The male rider of the scooter sustained life-threatening injuries and was immediately flown via air ambulance to the hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, the driver of the car did not sustain any injuries and is now assisting police with their ongoing investigation.
A witness at the scene said the man was trapped under the middle of the car up to his neck. He witnessed police slide him out after citizens lifted the car. He was motionless
