Crews started work this week to lift huge retaining wall panels into place – the first steps in building a new road bridge that will remove the level crossing for good.
Crews will also continue working in the median and on both sides on Princes Highway to begin to construct the new road bridge. Teams will undertake earthworks for the road ramps and install reinforcing steel for the bridge structure.
Intermittent lane closures and reduced speeds are in place on Princes Highway to help keep our crews and the community safe.
