Park Upgrade Begins
Construction is underway on a major upgrade to Farfalla Way Park in Tarneit, with Wyndham City beginning staged works that will continue through the remainder of 2026.
The project will transform the existing park into a larger district-level recreation space, with several new facilities and upgrades planned across the site.
Initial works now underway include the installation of new fitness equipment, accessible park furniture, landscaping and irrigation improvements to the kick-about space, and a new basketball court.
Further upgrades scheduled over the coming months include refurbishment of the park’s existing butterfly-themed artworks and shelter, upgrades to the play space, and the installation of a new accessible BBQ and public toilet.
The final design was shaped following community consultation earlier in 2026, with feedback helping guide priorities for the redevelopment.
Once complete, the upgraded park is expected to provide expanded recreation facilities for residents in Tarneit and surrounding suburbs.
Works are expected to be completed in late 2026.
